Indianapolis Events

There are more to Indianapolis events than just sporting events – there are cultural and popular events that are held in the city as well. And they also draw crowds, thank you very much. Indianapolis events are always very colorful, no matter what type of event it may be, and we're not lying when we say that they're worth at least a look.

Apart from being a center for sports, Indianapolis has also cultivated for itself a reputation for great music. This is why many Indianapolis events involve music, such as jazz and percussion. In fact, one of the most important Indianapolis events would have to be the Annual Indy Jazz festival, which the city has been hosting since 1999.

Indianapolis is also host to America's largest role-playing convention in America, GenCon, and has been hosting it at the Indiana Convention Center since 2003. Film festivals are also regularly part of Indianapolis events, on top of fan/cult conventions.
